The all-inclusive trips begin and end in spectacular Jackson Hole, and throughout the week we’ll travel by horse-drawn sleigh, the Triangle C’s famous snow coaches, and snowmobiles. Opportunities will be excellent to observe, study, and photograph elk, bison, moose, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, mule deer, and possibly wolves. It’s winter, the crowds are gone, and the wildlife will be active, so regardless of your level of experience, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

We’re limiting each tour to just three participants, to insure plenty of one-on-one instruction with Steve throughout the week, and to increase group flexibility depending on the weather or wildlife locations. You’ll have your own “working window” while in the snow coaches, and wherever possible, we’ll get out and walk, too, as we look for the perfect photo angle.

Author of eight books on wildlife, nature study, and outdoor recreation, including his prize-winning work on Africa, “Valley of the Big Cats,” Steve also serves as a Contributing Editor for Field & Stream Magazine as well as a Senior Writer/Photographer for ESPN/Outdoors. For more than 35 years, his writing and photography have been published worldwide by firms including the National Geographic Society, Ford Motor Company, Reader’s Digest, Yamaha Marine, and many more. A fulltime outdoorsman, he was inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame for his years of work in that sport. You can see more of his work at www.stevepricephotos.com.

Highlights of your week include a special horse-drawn sleigh tour (with unlimited time) of the National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole, followed by two days in Yellowstone traveling by snow coach to film not only wildlife but also the park’s geysers, including Old Faithful. Then it’s here to the ranch, with a full day in the Whiskey Mountain Wild Sheep Management Area to film Rocky Mountain Bighorns. We’ll be shooting here on foot to avoid stressing the sheep, so come prepared for a little hiking!

Our busy week concludes with what may be the most spectacular day of all, as we mount snowmobiles at the Triangle C and travel deep into the Wind River Range to film moose, elk, and the scenic grandeur of one of America’s premier wilderness areas! Don’t worry if you’ve never been on a snowmobile before, as we’ll teach you how to drive! With Steve’s guidance – he frequently teaches nature photography at REI outlets around the country -- you’ll be able to capture some of the most awe-inspiring photos of the week. This is an area none of the other Yellowstone photo tours ever visit, and it will be a day you’ll never forget! Evenings will be spent relaxing, downloading your images, discussing the day’s photography, and preparing for the next day’s activities.

We’re working closely with Steve to iron out final details of these two unique wildlife experiences, but we can guarantee a trip you’ll long remember. Contact us here for additional information, pricing, and schedules, by e-mail at [email protected]; or Call (307) 455- 2225 . We know both trips will fill quickly!
